Andrew Ducko will be entering his tenth season as Head Coach at The College of New Jersey in 2024-25, it will be the third year at the Division 1 level for the program. He led the Lions to a 19-6-1-1 record in his first season behind the bench which included a CSCHC regular season title, an appearance in the CSCHC finals, and an OT goal away from an appearance in the ACHA D2 Southeast Regional Tournament. The past four seasons the team went on to win the CSCHC “Colonial Cup” Championship, and appeared in the Southeast regional Tournament in each year. The appearance at Regionals during the 2016-17 was the first for the team in the 40 year history of the program, and in 2018-19 the Lions won their first Regional game. Under Coaches Ducko and Batcho the program has an overall CSCHC record of 82-19-4-3 and 119-59-4-7 overall. In 2018 he was awarded CSCHC Coach of the Year.  He also has served as the President of the CSCHC since 2016.  Ducko is the Rink Manager at Loucks Ice Center at The Lawrenceville School, TCNJ’s home rink. Ducko serves as the Hockey Director and Master Scheduler for the Princeton/Lawrence/Nassau Youth Hockey program and has coached at various levels for the organization including Midget 18AA. In 2019 Coach Ducko was the Head Coach for the Neponset Valley River Rats 18AAA team.

Ducko was also the Head Coach of Notre Dame High School in Lawrenceville, NJ from 2010-2018.  Over those eight seasons with the Irish, Ducko’s teams had a record of 135-62-12, winning the Colonial Valley Conference (CVC) five straight years (2011-12 through 2015-16), two Mercer County Championships (2012 and 2013), four Mercer County Championship Runners-up (2011,2014, 2015, and 2016), Egan Cup Champions (2015), Egan Cup Runners-up (2016 and 2017), while qualifying for the NJSIAA Non-Public State Playoffs each season. Ducko was also the 2011 Trenton Times “Coach of the Year” and the 2012 New Jersey Power Rankings State “Coach of the Year.”  Prior to working at The Lawrenceville School, Coach Ducko spent three years at Grundy Ice Arena in Bristol, PA serving as Hockey Director, and coaching the Grundy Senators Midget 18AA, was Grundy Grizzlies Director, coached Neshaminy Middle School, and was Head Coach of Abington High School during the 2009-10 season. Prior to his stint at Grundy Coach Ducko spent the 2007-08 season as the Head Coach of Lawrence Academy JV (Groton, MA), Pro Ambitions Bantam Major AAA (Nashua, NH), as an Instructor for Pro Ambitions (Nashua, NH), and the Assistant/ Skills Coach for Bishop Guertin Girls Varsity.

Coach Ducko resides in Doylestown, PA with his wife Meghan, son Max, and daughter Ava.
