Men’s Division 2 Head Coach: Travis Beni

Travis Beni is entering his third year coaching with TCNJ’s second team. Before coaching at TCNJ, Travis was a standout defenseman for TCNJ from 2018-2022 when the team competed in the Division 2 CSCHC conference and he served as a team captain in his senior year. During his playing career at TCNJ, the team made it to the CSCHC “Colonial Cup” Championship each year and won it twice.
Aside from his time with TCNJ, Beni is a history teacher at South River High School and coaches the Tri-op high school team of East Brunswick/Spotswood/South River which was established in 2022. In only his second year behind the bench, Coach Beni led the team to a 10-9 record and its first ever appearance in the state tournament. For his efforts he was recognized as the Greater Middlesex Conference Coach of the Year in the 2023-2024 season.
